The state Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) was established in 1967 to award grant dollars to local and state government entities dedicated to supporting life-saving traffic safety programs. OTS grants are designed to address police traffic services, alcohol and other drugs, occupant protection, pedestrian and bicycle safety, emergency medical services, roadway safety, and traffic records.

"OTS is committed to distributing grants to benefit communities with the greatest needs for reducing traffic fatalities and injuries," OTS Director Christopher Murphy said. "We're working with state and local agencies to deliver results-driven traffic safety programs."
